FAQ

Questions about pressure vessels & tanks

Don’t see yours? Call 818-669-9999.

What does the ASME U-Stamp mean for a pressure vessel?

It means the vessel is designed, fabricated, inspected and tested to ASME Section VIII, Division 1 by a shop authorized to apply the U designator, with an Authorized Inspector reviewing the work before the vessel is stamped.

What installation requirements should we include in our RFQ?

Include the installation location, applicable project specifications and any registration or inspection requirements identified by your project team. We review these with the scope before confirming the quotation.

What do you need from us to quote a vessel?

A datasheet or drawing with design pressure and temperature, dimensions, materials, nozzle schedule, corrosion allowance and any client or code specifications. If you only have process requirements, our engineers can develop the design from there.
