FAQ

Questions about heat exchangers

Don’t see yours? Call 818-669-9999.

Which types of heat exchanger do you build?

Shell-and-tube, U-tube, bayonet and pipe-in-pipe exchangers, in carbon steel, stainless and specialty alloys.

When is a U-tube design a good fit?

A U-tube bundle absorbs thermal expansion between the shell and tubes without an expansion joint, which suits services with large temperature differences. The trade-off is that the tube side is harder to clean mechanically.

Are your heat exchangers built to code?

Yes. Heat exchangers are designed and built to ASME standards, with the applicable code, materials and testing set out in your specification.
